“Tamago Kake Gohan” with Frozen Yolk Egg Marinated in Miso

Though it’s quite similar to a kumquat, it is a yolk egg!

Why dose this yolk egg maintain the shape of sphere?  Because it has turned into a gel by freezing.

How to make
1. Leave an egg in a freezer over 12 hours.
2.  Break the egg and separate yolk egg.
3. Envelop the yolk egg with gauze, and marinate it in Miso 6-8 hours.

Serve it with “Nori” seaweed.  Drop a little bit of soy sauce if desired.
