This is a surface of “Tai” red seabrem (Pagurus major).
Why red? Because of Astaxanthin, it provides the red color of red seabream body.
The first producers of sea called “Haematococcus” algae. Zooplankton, such as krill eat it . Furthermore shrimp, crab, fish eat it.
As such , it is collected in the body of red seabream.
