“Kabosu” Juice Ice Cube

“Kabosu” is one of Japanese native citrus to Oita Prefecture.

These “Kabosu” have sent from “Tashibu no Sho” rural area of Oita Prefecture.

In that area, the layout and forms of villages and fields about 14th-15th century remains in the current, and so it is a Japanese important cultural landscape.

is a Citrus sphaerocarpa, which is a bud sport (mutation) of Yuzu. 臭橙 or 香母酢(かぼす) literally “smell orange” or “fragrance mother acid”
・Ponzu
is a citrus-based sauce often used in “Nabe” cuisine. ポン酢(ぽんず) literally “pons vinegar”  * “pons” is derived from Netherlandish word “pons”
・Nabe
is a hot pot dish.  It is cooked at table and served from the pot direct. 鍋(なべ) literally “pot”
